Habitat Builders

Since our start in 2019, this NCWF chapter has done much in our surrounding area to build awareness, build habitat, and build community. Highlights from the past year include Arbor Day tree plantings at 10 elementary schools, five educational Speaker Series programs, numerous invasive plant removal days at local parks and trails, garden and bird walks, and water sampling in partnership with Catawba RiverKeeper. In 2023, we were named NCWF Chapter of the Year!

Though our name has changed, we remain committed to educating and engaging our community about the importance and benefits of restoring, protecting and conserving our wildlife and natural habitat. We hope you continue to build habitat with us!!
